Valerie Murray-Tuggle, BS, MS
Valerie Murray-Tuggle received her Bachelors of Science in Public Administration from Medgar Evers College. She holds two Masters Degrees in Counseling (Brooklyn College), and Administration and Supervision (Touro College). During her 30 years with the New York City Department of Education, she served as a special education teacher, guidance counselor, and a high school
administrator.
As assistant principal to one of Brooklyn’s premiere high schools, Benjamin Banneker Academy, Murray-Tuggle worked closely with each student ensuring the nurturing aspect of education. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.” This quote inspired her to uncover an educational gap in our community. She created the U-Turn Program, transforming the lives of several at-risk students allowing them to obtain their diploma. She comes to Rock Academic Services LLC, as an Education Consultant determined to impact our next generation.
